Jenna Ryan, who flew to J6 in a private jet and vowed she would never go to prison, is turning herself in soon. She says if she can lose 30 pounds in jail it will be worth it, plans on doing yoga in jail, detoxing from alcohol, and hopefully they have those protein shakes. https://pic.twitter.com/tGNSqYNXtJ

(7,525 posts)County jails in many states are known for having extremely tight meal budgets. Food in state prisons is usually better than a county jail, and federal penitentiaries usually serve better fare than state prison.
As far as I can tell, FPC Bryan is the closest federal facility for female inmates to Dallas Texas. I'm curious if the Bureau of Prisons will ask the local county jail to house her instead of moving her 150+ miles for a 60 day stay though.

(57,106 posts)... stupid asshole, get me my protein shake or I'll shank your fat ass." It'll get you the respect from all the other criminals you deserve.

(16,846 posts)She's about to get an education. It's a shame she's not spending more time in there. 30 days really isn't enough for someone like her, but she'll think it's an eternity. And she'd better hope no one in there hears about the protein shakes comment. They'll have some ready for her.

(34,111 posts)you could get a video of what her reaction is when she arrives with all her expectations?
Surely her expected stay will not be different than any of the others or will it be? I hope not and this is a person I would love to see tweets from her cell.

(9,074 posts)Just everything wrong with instagram culture in one post. The narcissism, the failure to have any sense of responsibility or remorse, the absolute obliviousness to how the world outside of her manicured bubble of privilege works.
This whole thing reads like an SNL skit.
I mean, I kind of get it. If I had to be in prison for 30 days, I'd probably try to figure out something productive to do and put some kind of silver lining around it.
I'd also try to spend that time really thinking about what led me into that situation and what kinds of changes I might need to make in my life.
I do not see this happening with her. Well, not on Day One at least. Maybe by Day 30 something will sink in.

(3,341 posts)I'm stumped trying to think what mechanism she decides on to fleece a flock of fans. May be a market of the gullible for post-pen yoga classes or px protein shakes.
