Yeah, he could be a jerk, but he was our jerk
We need more fighters like him
And we need a "Worst Person in the World"

(1,568 posts)Its kinda like separating the genius musician from the sketchy things they might do (or illegal). Its ok to love Billie Jean and accept that Michael Jackson was likely a predator. Not that Keith being a jerk is at that level

(32,086 posts)And, I say that as someone been a fan for decades. He was a jerk when he was at ESPN, too, in both runs, pre- and post-MSNBC. His journalism skills can't be beat, though.

(10,208 posts)i remember seeing him during the 2016 election. He was reviewing an interview he'd had with TFG a couple years before that. I don't remember much but he kept saying "there's something wrong with this guy". Understatement of the century.

(32,645 posts)Maybe Franken and Olberman could team up and put on a regular talk show with commentary on politics-sports-entertainment and a lot of other things. Who says it has to be all-politics 24/7?
A show like that would become "Must See TV" in no-time.

(32,086 posts)He seemed a lot happier since he went back to sports and dog rescuing, with only occasional political dabbling. I can't imagine he wants to go back to that kind of grind.
