Jury in Ghislaine Maxwell trial to see photos depicting her relationship with Epstein

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Ghislaine Maxwell's sex abuse trial was set to enter its seventh day on Tuesday, with prosecutors expected to show jurors photographs depicting the British socialite's relationship with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan denied a request by Maxwell's attorney on Monday to bar the photos, which FBI agents found on compact disks seized from Epstein's Manhattan home during a July 2019 search. Epstein was arrested on sex abuse charges that month, and died by suicide in jail weeks later.

The cache of digital photographs also includes images of two women who have accused Maxwell of serving them up to Epstein while they were teenagers. They are depicted in various states of undress, prosecutors indicated on Monday.

Maxwell, 59, faces eight counts of sex trafficking and other charges for allegedly recruiting and grooming teenage girls for Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 2004. She has pleaded not guilty, and her lawyers argue she is being scapegoated for Epstein's alleged crimes because he is dead.

Now that there is a bummer, Ghislaine. Maybe you shouldn't have kept all that evidence to be used against you in a court of law? Or at least password-protected it?

you know, the one that happened in a jail with 24/7 video coverage, that conveniently had broken camera(s) next to Epstein's cell.

Sounds like a side job from trump's former body guard Schiller, the one who roughed up Jorge Ramos when trump called for violence against reporters.

Epstein had millions to buy off judges and juries, lawyers to delay the court, more delay, delay. And he was young with plenty of life ahead of him, with a trump pardon in the offing as a kicker.
