Karen falsely accuses black man of stealing her phone, only to find it in her purse

Ya know, probably like many other folks, I have frantically searched for my “missing “ cellphone. Even in public like this woman. The first thing that comes to my mind is not, the black guy must have stolen it. I’m sure this woman will be saying I’m not racist. I have a black friend. But this is not normal. The times I was frantically searching my purse for my phone, the first thought was, where did I last use it? Hmm, is it in the couch? Under the driver’s seat? Did I leave it on top of the car.
I think that’s a normal reaction, not the black guy must have stolen it.

4. Who the fuck cares about being fair? The only thing I care about is the guy got accused.

Oh no... Poor white woman! I don't care if she apologized. She shouldn't have done it in the first damn place. "To be fair tho..."

...BEFORE ACCUSING A SINGLE PERSON ALIVE. Stupid fucking asshole. (I wanted to use the B word, but yeah I don't think I can.) Infuriating.

Takes two seconds to call your own number, and maybe a minute to use location features (which will ring your phone).

Calling it is the first thing on my list. 9 times out of ten, it's within 2 feet of me.

17. Also stealing phones isn't the most lucrative thing

You have to break the security features and jail break it before it can even be remotely usable. The prospect of anybody having stolen your phone if it is missing isn't the highest.

3. "I apologize" they should have made her say what she is apologizing for so she can hear it out of

11. At least she apologized. I have such a low opinion of these cretins that I figured she wouldn't

At least she apologized. I have such a low opinion of these cretins that I figured she wouldn’t. I was hoping that if she didn’t somebody would have the good sense to call her on it and tell her she could at least apologize.

What example is that woman setting for her son when she makes a huge disgusting mistake like that and won't apologize?

Her reaction suggests a bias so deep she's not even aware of it. In other words, pretty damn typical these days.
