Jobless claims fall to a 52 year low. I suspect this will just be a side-line mention from the MSM (Original Post) JohnSJ Dec 2021 OP

While completely ignoring the fact it is “sluggish” because almost everyone looking for a job has one!!!

The media is despicable.

print editions of the national newspapers.

As for radio and TV, I expect that the news will rate one or two sentences on tonight's national TV news on the three commercial networks and maybe a bit more on PBS.

My local all-news radio station, WTOP, will cover the news twice an hour. They get CBS Radio news on the top of the hour. That broadcast should mention it. Bloomberg radio will have it.

In the middle of the country? No broadband access? I don't know what listeners do. Hear about how they're going to hell, catch up on the latest conspiracy theories, or listen to someone chant "let's go, Brandon." Beats me.

Thanks for the thread.

Update: there was no mention of the report on the truncated version of the hourly CBS Radio news carried by WTOP.

Admittedly, it is one of those things that you have to go out of your way to find.
