What is unanimous consent in House of Representatives?

The House does much of its noncontroversial work by "unanimous consent" (i.e., when one Member stands up and asks that something be done or permitted by unanimous consent and no other Member objects to the request).

So basically, procedural items that keep the House doing the people's work are typically called up for unanimous consent, and expedited for passage.

Boebert and her other farts just try to block those routine items, which BOTH parties have done for basically the existence of the House; for their own amusement. There is a phrase for people like that, something about "liking the smell of their own..."

She is a disgrace and needs to be out of Congress and never allowed to be anywhere near any lever of power again.
