Please give Joe time to change the show, and he is doing so, ........

The election in 2022 is about a year away.

Joe is changing the show right now.

If this and if that, is not profitable in my opinion.

We have NOW, and the next several months.

We must keep our eyes on NOW.

I honestly don't know.

the dialogue that the President has with the U.S.A. Only time will tell if that affects 2022.

5. A reasonable request.

I think that at least the majority of us here at DU understand that and would not NOT vote or vote for someone else (especially not a Republican).

The problem is not DU.

The problem is that the general population is both relatively uninformed about the nature of government, and the state of government currently. They are also typically impatient and want to see improvements in their lives quickly, especially when a "New" government takes over.

There are a few factors that work against us.
1. This impatience and relative ignorance of government.
2. Media narratives of "conflict" and "lack of progress" tend to make people feel upset or ambivalent.
3. There is a dedicated propaganda machine on the right that keeps them perpetually aroused and active.

I for one, will continue to vote regularly and vote for the Democratic candidate. The alternative is insane. I will also continue to critique my own side if I see them making decisions I disagree with.
