Here's how billions of infrastructure dollars will be spent in four Midwest states

Taking the podium at the Kansas City Area Transport Authority on Wednesday, President Joe Biden touted the passage of his infrastructure bill, as part of a tour promoting one of his administration’s top goals.

The package of infrastructure priorities comes with a price tag of $1.3 trillion, and is designed to focus on a series of long-term projects for the nation.

Biden emphasized the importance of investing in the nation’s infrastructure again, drawing comparisons to how other nations’ spending has outpaced the United States.

“We invested in our people, we gave opportunity,” Biden said, referring to the massive projects of the Cold War era. “We didn’t become this nation by thinking small.”

read the history of the Tom Pendergast, the 10 year plan for Kansas City, and the Ready-Mix Concrete company (owned by boss Tom Pendergast)... and the thickness of the walls in the structures they built.

from NE Mesa Thursday..before leaving the house at 7AM, I looked at all routes for this 50 mile run..202 to 101 to I10, so says mapping..I had to get to I10..been a while since I made this drive..like 3-4 years..all the construction warnings surrounding I10 and 202..101..oh dear..so I went the way I knew the best..60 to I10 East..(60 turns into I10 East or West)

Arizona roads are a mess..there just aren't enough lanes for all the trucks and cars..they are trying to keep up..but, in the meantime..morning I10 West from Tucson, or afternoon I10 East to Tucson..nothing but a parking lot...it seems almost too late..just trying to get to I347, like a video game with many bumps in the road..

I do hope AZ is on the list for infrastructure...this route is just one of many that needs widening..

West valley..202 or 303, most is new, but already inadequate to handle the flow from I10 east or west...here's to AZ road workk!!
