(15,359 posts)They are great for staples, and in the case of LIDL, interesting international finds.
I can get eggs for around .65 a dozen, and LIDL has German Glühwein for 4.99 at Christmas time.
I make a great mulled wine to warm the old cockles after a day playing in the snow.

Course, General Mills = Nestle. Not so great either...

(54,445 posts)We make our own Müssli from scratch with oat flakes, wheat germ, crushed flax seed and dried fruit. It takes maybe 30 seconds longer than pouring from a box of processed stuff.
