3. Eng-gram... I like Joy Reid, but she has a habit of mispronouncing names so I'd never

go by her. Her damned staff ought to be correcting her, but afaik, she still pronounces Giuliani, Julie-Annie, with heavy accent and emphasis on the "Annnnn-ieeeee." At first I thought it was intentional, but no. And anything medical? OMG.

But, I still like her.

18. I don't think so. A few weeks ago, she had a panel--all who pronunced Giuliani correctly after

she'd introduced the issue re: him with her usual pronunciation. She look embarrassed and for the rest to the segment managed to pronounce it correctly. Some names are like a tic for her. Do I care that she mispronounces Giuliani's name--not really. But it tends to extend to not so uncommon names of towns and cities and world leaders too. I just think her staff should help her with that.

and words they aren't familiar with. It is likely we all do from time to time, but fortunately don't do so on tv. Thus, her staff ought to do THEIR job. It gets embarrassing.

For that matter, Mika Brzezinski has problems with this from time to time, too. Fortunately, Alex, their producer, tends to catch it before the segment is over so that she doesn't keep doing so.
