My buddy, Charlie, great singer and musician, and one of the true beautiful souls in this world is losing the battle with Covid. He and his wife both caught it and don’t know how. His wife bounced back quickly, but Charlie has not. They are both vaxxed and boostered and, because of Charlie’s health issues, they are extremely careful. I haven’t lost many people to this evil disease, and the thought of losing this bright light is devastating.

If you have a good thought or a prayer or anything, please send it to Charlie. Thanks. ❤️

Never within 10 ft of unmasked person in a public place

Never in an enclosed building with unmasked people in an enclosed place

Never in an encounter with a masked person for whatever reason for longer than a couple minutes

At home no family members who aren't as careful live or visit

I was intrigued by his shirt, at first because it helped me find him on the dark stage, but later because of what was on it. On his right side was an image of Adam from the sistine chapel, which suggested that his left side image would be God's from the same source, but I couldn't clearly see it. It kind of looked like the Flying Spaghetti Monster with white sauce instead of red.

I also thought about how the image of Adam is supposed to stand for mankind, and by this framing, the white ethnicity is the holiness standard to be judged by. White is closest to God, then brown people, then black. And how conservatives would howl if someone were to recast that pairing from the chapel with figures with a lot more melanin. I'd really like to see someone paint that.

I looked real close, and below it says, “Touched by His noodly appendage”. That is so Charlie. He is Muslim, his wife is Jewish, his kids are Christian, and he loves them all. And he has a wicked sense of humor about life.
