Where are the demands that Fox News Hosts resign?

It has been revealed that Fox News hosts sent texts on January 6 urging that Trump call off the rioters, yet as we know, they then claimed to viewers that the rioters were leftists and Antifa, with few Trump supporters, and they have since downplayed that Trump was in any way responsible.

They knowingly watched Trump's plan unfold to overthrow the election result, and knew Trump had the power to stop it, but they lied to their viewers. They didn't give a fuck that people might die, or that American democracy could be a thing of the past until they worried it might affect them.

Why isn't every Democrat lawmaker demanding heads roll at Fox News or at least telling Trumpers that they all need to be very angry at Fox News for playing both sides?

It's exactly the same with vaccine mandates. Fox News has a vaccine mandate for all employees, but they preach against vaccine mandates to their viewers. They are happy for ordinary folk to die by turning covid into a culture war, while at the same time, they are safe. They need to be called out to their viewers. All that anger their viewers have needs to be redirected at them.

Or to even pretend to be real journalists. But you have a good point. They have used their positions to cover up for Trump. They need to go.

with the least influence (or the most boomerang/anti-influence) when it comes to FUX and their viewers.

FUX is an open, explicit, partisan Repuke propaganda outfit. It is laughable to suggest that Democratic party office holders could influence them to behave ethically, or their viewers to demand that they do so.

Yup, the law would be unconstitutional, and I wouldn't agree with it as "Fixed News" does have a legal right to spew out mis and dis information. However a news outlet IMO has a moral obligation to be honest and truthful.

Hurting them in the pocketbook would be IMO a way to get these charlatans to change their ways a bit.

Fox News was front and center in trying to overthrow the government.

Why is there no call or pressure on Fox to act with any integrity?

It's different for them. Their viewers don't need accountability unlike the integrity shown at more normal networks that don't peddle rw propaganda like fox does

To hear Hannity's version, Cheney has no shame and is simply taking one last shot at Trump. Hannity devotes 4 hours of radio and 1 hour of TV time each day, spewing disinformation and propaganda about Biden and the Democrats

But a little tit for tat is an egregious attack upon his journalistic integrity.
