A powerful storm will trigger severe weather in the Upper Midwest Wednesday.
Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat, but a few tornadoes area also possible.

4. Eastern Iowa, so yeah,

kind of in the middle of the big blob of bad on the weather reports.

After the derecho last year, we couldn't find anyone to take some really big limbs out of a tall tree on our property. I fear that they may come down. Hopefully, not on the house or the power lines.

ETA: Schools are dismissing at noon and all after school activities are cancelled.

60 mph gusts aren't that high for Chgo. I lived theremost of my life. Still could be issues with power lines I suppose.
