It's just when the "wrong" people get some bit of Treasury funds that Republicans are suddenly all worried about waste, fraud and abuse. If a wealthy person gets a hundred thousand dollar tax break and spends it on hookers and blow, Republicans don't care. A person barely scraping by gets an extra $20 a month, and Republicans want to go through every item in their grocery cart every week: "Well la-dee-dah, look at Miss Fancy, buying lean ground beef instead of regular!"
