1:30 p.m. update: The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for a large area stretching from Grand Island to eastern Iowa and southern Minnesota. The area includes the Omaha-Council Bluffs and Lincoln areas. The watch will be in effect until 8 p.m.

(12,904 posts)Im not seeing the clouds racing across the sky, the way they do when a tornado is nearby. Theyre still just kinda hanging there, blowing by in proportion to the wind, which is considerable. My neighbor kids trampoline is upside down against the fence.
I get really worried for my neighbors in the Midwest when I see the clouds racing. Its like they all start heading to the same place, at the same time. Terrifying.
