Tornado sirens are going off in our area (Bellevue, NE) IT IS PAST US!!!

Last edited Wed Dec 15, 2021, 06:46 PM - Edit history (1)

Edit: Eastern Nebraska is mostly calm EXCEPT we still have high winds. Western Iowa has several sightings of tornadoes by radar as the line of storms moves east.

I hate it when sirens are going off and we are down in the basement.

We're a few hours east of you, and if the watch covers us, nothing will happen until after dark here....Although, the radar reports have it going north of where I am.

I was just outside, and it feels sultry; tornado like.... Right now, it's 73 degrees, 10 days before Christmas....in Iowa! This temperature is the highest in December ever on record, by a LOT.

Stay safe, OS!!

It was a very unseasonable day, high of 65 on my outdoor thermometer. We have no snow, but expecting rain and high winds sometime tonight. And it’s alway seems windier where I live. Brought in all the outdoor patio furniture as I didn’t want it blowing around my deck.

Stay safe….this could be a doozy!

This weather is ridiculous! We should be having snow storms, not tornadoes. Wishing you safety.
