Great post. The only comment I’d make is that I think there IS a possibility that Putin knew Trump would win. I’m still not convinced that Hillary lost fair and square - but unlike the QAnons, I’ve moved on.

Hillary is a national treasure.

I hope everyone understands how long ago it began. Early in her career they realized she was smart enough & competent enough to pose a threat to the GOP, so they spent decades discrediting her & lying about her.

The result? I have a Republican customer who once told me that they didn't like Trump "but Hillary is evil." I asked why they believed that, what things she had done that made them think that & they said "I don't know, it's just what I've heard."

And there you have a perfect example of the power of effective messaging.

Why did the media universally agree to demonize this woman? Was it something someone said? Like Bill Clinton, when he said she was the smartest person he knew? and that from the smartest president we ever had (for sure, since 1980).

Was from the smoke machines and pyrotechnics set up by the vast right-wing conspiracy that has been attacking the Clinton family since forever. The actual smoke coming from them is in the order of what you get blowing out a match, not California Brush Fire levels of smoke. They are good people and not corrupt

Hey Dinesh, she got her A+ rating back when they investigated and found out you are a liar, but the damage was already done and still she did not sue you for defamation. And she never stole from a children's cancer charity, was not banned by the State of New York from running a charity, or had to take court ordered classes on how not to steal from charities.

Caught this tidbit in the thread:

Mueller, She Wrote
@MuellerSheWrote
I asked Pete Strzok how the FBI investigation into Hillary’s emails started. He said it was a referral from the ICIG having gone through material she produced for congress’ Benghazi committee.

That means the ICIG is likely going through everything produced to the 1/6 committee

Since I had to look it up, I'll share to save others the time:

ICIG = https://www.dni.gov/index.php/who-we-are/organizations/icig/icig-who-we-are

The 2010 Intelligence Authorization Act formally established the Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

In accordance with Title 50 U.S.C.A. Section 3033, the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (ICIG) conducts independent and objective audits, investigations, inspections, and reviews to promote economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and integration across the Intelligence Community.

Interesting.

35. Why Mark Meadows' use of personal email accounts matters
Thu Dec 16, 2021, 06:46 PM
Dec 2021

The idiots who refused to vote for Hillary Clinton due to her emails still piss me off. The NYT and other media sources covered this issue in a way to to help elect TFG. Now the medial is ignoring the fact that TFG's COS did far worse

But Meadows offers an even more striking example, not only because he was part of a Republican White House filled with Clinton critics who were doing what she did, but also because he was a GOP member of Congress — who helped investigate Clinton's email practices in 2016.

In fact, it was the Republican-led House Oversight Committee that held hearings on Clinton's email protocols ahead of Election Day 2016, and it was Meadows who served on the committee at the time.

Four years later, he became the White House chief of staff — a position in which Meadows had access to highly classified information, and a job in which he was required to use government-issued accounts and electronic devices.

It nevertheless appears that the Republican used "a personal cellphone, a Signal account and two personal Gmail accounts for government business."

It's something to keep in mind the next time a rabid GOP crowd starts chanting, "Lock her up."

I am always amazed at the lies and smears and stupid things that people are willing to believe about Hillary. Some of the nastiest attitudes about her come from women. I just don't get it. Back when she was in the primary, we even had Hillary hate here on DU.

In 2016 we had two candidates: the most qualified, honest, and smartest ever to run and the lowest, stupidest, most inept, and disgusting ever to run. So which one did America put in office? I don't get it. I just don't get it.
