They did the same "cover up" for Bush. "Misunderestimated" and then making it seem like he coins his own words. No one would call him stupid, or give him a real tough question. So any fool who flunked school can now run for President.

2. The "Democratic Strategist" on msnbc said Rmoney "didn't make any major gaffes"

So they write off this major error that Mitt insisted upon? And Russia is our biggest global foe too huh?

I agree the MSM is puking up smoke to cover up that line that should cost him the election.

He's in Sarah Palin territory.

He's a joke--but they're propping him up. Iran isn't some minor concern, some unknown little spot in the world--it's been the right's OBSESSION for years now.

7. Romney's mistake was omitting the word 'Mediterranean' when he said the word sea.

Iran has to go thru Iraq and Syria to get to the Mediterranean Sea.

So, the media may by ignoring it because it's not as bad as some of the ones Palin made.

Not knowing where the hell the countries actually ARE would put lie to that.

11. No access to the Sea was only part ONE of the gaffe.

Part Two is that Iran has no allies except Syria.
THAT is absurd.

Among Iran's formal Allies are:

*Russia

*China

*Cuba

*IRAQ(True, but this info is not distributed in the US)

*Afghanistan

*Pakistan (so-so)

*Lebanon

*North Korea (Nuclear Armed)

*Most of "The Stans" (former Soviet controlled areas north of Afghanistan now independent nations controlled by fundamentalist tribal Muslims loyal to the Ayatollahs)

*Venezuela, and several other Latin American countries allied with Venezuela

Part of the reason there's so little coverage is that the MSM really wants this debate to go away. It's an outlier, doesn't fit into their narrative, and wasn't supposed to be as bad as it was.
