To those who worship the criminal, mass-murdering, swinish, moronic rapist, I say, 800,00+ have died for your god/emperor's sins. Quite the trick on his part, suckers.

(3,730 posts)God dies for the sins of humanity (or is it inhumanity?).
I do not understand this Theology.
Are we being blamed for God's failures?
Did Jesus die for all sinners or only the ones up to his time?
If my repentance is needed, then Jesus' power must be limited, as it needs my help.
Is Jesus God?
Is God limitless, infinite, all power etc?
If God is limitless, then Jesus' death should have fully eliminated sin for all time and all people.
What is real? Can the unreal become real or the real become unreal?
Is evil real? If it is real, can it be removed? If evil is unreal, it need not be removed?
The Theology suggests that Jesus died for my sins, that Jesus has taken the results of my actions, my karmas.
This sounds like a good deal, but the Theology does not condone 'karma' as real.

(5,502 posts)Far more, I'd wager. If it was true, the Jesus story would be beautiful. However, because it's not true, it's quite dangerous. Which is why way more people have died for Jesus, for a fable, a tall tale.
The undoing of humans will be that they weren't able to accept that there was nothing more.

It's all to create confusion and control. Transsubstantiation, martyrdom, guilt ('I've been so bad, that man suffered because of me!').
They want your fealty, your money, control of you, to perpetuate their own power. Religious capitalism.

Ok. Thanks a lot. For nothing.
