I understood when they had no other hosts beyond Matthews, Olbermann and Maddow that they had to duplicate the evening programming.

Given that no other shows repeat now until 11 p.m. why is Hardball's 7 p.m. slot sacred? Surely, they have someone in wings that can pull off a one hour show between Al and Ed.

Smart and honest, Capehart good too. Whew some sanity still remains on msnbc but it looks like they are risking only 20% of their programming due to the buck$ coming in now.
