(23,018 posts)And where public education has been replaced with religious and private entities that indoctrinate their students with propaganda.
And no one wants to go to college to get saddled with a debt they can never repay.
The people that come out of this system end up not trusting government and is why we cant get passed 60% vaccination rate in this country. Its also why half the population votes against their best interests.
And its this half that is armed to the teeth and spurred on by the right to use violence against the other side.

(7,434 posts)My guess is that Joe has a sordid history and someone caught wind of it and let Joe know how terrible it would be if everyone knew.

(14,496 posts)Methinks he gets way too much media attention whereas the other 50 get practically none for blocking this much needed legislation.
Manchin is causing our Party far, far more damage than he should be able to due to vast media exposure and we know the wingnuts must be having a field day with it. I'm tired of seeing his mug everyday on my news channels.
One man does not hold absolute power over 330 million people but fifty-one U.S. Senators do....
Let social media see 50 more similar graphics by Occupy Democrats for the 50 Rethugs.

Corporate greed over the people has to end or we all will die/suffer via Covid or climate change?
Looking like sooner rather than later, they have kicked the can a bit too much just to score political points for their side and it really is obvious AF!
Meanwhile, follow the $ on all the military spending, IMHO something doesn't smell right on that never ending huge expense!

(36,152 posts)We could lay out how each of their states will be harmed by their no vote.
Call the 48 Repubs up, tell their staff how we're going to publicize all over social media their senator's 'no' vote harm to their state.

(383 posts)But lets not forget the other 50 assholes in the Senate that could also do the right thing. Fuck all 51 one of them. Republicans dont believe in government so they shouldnt be in government. Manchin is a republican also - or at least behaving like one.
