Right-wing talkers believe the "post-debate" is more important than the "debate".

They know that President Obama won the last 2 debates but they believe they are able to keep Romney in front by repeating over and over, day after day, their fake stories about Romney being the "true" winner. It actually may have worked to some degree after the second debate? But I have serious doubts that it is going to work after last nights debate. They have gone to the well once too often.

FOX TV was on top of the Propaganda for Mitt Campaign. They understand very well that a lot of low information voters watch their network. Immediately after the debate last night, Sean Hannity came on the air to tell all the FOX viewers how weak Obama looked. Romney looked very presidential. Obama was disrespectful. Etc...etc...

Then they brought on Frank Luntz with his instant poll of "Undecideds" to get their opinion of the debate and to validate what Hannity just told them. It looked like 25-30 people in the focus group and Luntz wasted no time going down the row to get their immediate reactions. One by one, they had what appeared to be a canned response in support of Romney. Not one of them thought Obama won the debate.

So that is the way it is done.

But I don't think it is going to work this time? It won't be for lack of trying.

...as somewhere close to the Gettysburg Address in its greatness. It was the greatest Republican debate since Ronald Reagan, they said. In fact, he came across as an arrogant, know-it-all bully and the President did not want to indulge in such a match. Romney was declared the unanimous winner by the corporate media and the President then made the decision not to let that happen again. And it didn't..

because it's what they want to believe. That's how conservatives are. Their basis for believing things is whether they want it to be true. If the RW mouths say one positive or even neutral thing about the President, their audiences will shut them right off. So they're put in the position of having to make statements that are more and more obviously false and ridiculous.
