There is a separate mask thread currently, but I wanted to make an OP to draw attention to this.

This is the mask that I use. It is called the Envomask. Link and picture below.

Replaceable n95 filter that sits in a hard plastic cage about an inch away from your face.

Thick gel padding that forms a tight seal around tour face.

Can be ordered with two different styles of headgear

1) Top strap with plastic clips that go around your ear. If you look at some YouTube videos, you will see that many medical professionals crisscross the ear clips behind the top of their head instead of having them sit on their ears all day. Bottom strap goes on the lower part of the back of your head and is adjustable for tightness.

2) Two straps that go behind your head, one high, one low. . The lower strap can be adjusted for tightness.

I use the option 2 strap system (called "Holo"- see above pic).

It is important to note that this system does have an exhale valve. To prevent your breath from escaping the exhale valve, the company provides two options:

1) A plastic plug that fits tightly into the inside of the exhale valve hole (this is what I use).

2) A plastic covering that covers the entire face of the mask cage.

These masks are expensive, but the gel creates an incredibly good seal around your face, and the mask can be worn comfortably all day.

Gill Mask that has a nice rubberized seal along those lines and you can use your own filter medium...but I have a big nose, so it is a bit uncomfortable and the breathing surface is pretty small, so it takes a lot of effort (and condensation is an issue too). This one looks interesting.
