It's all so obvious...
..but has gotten so complicated. Trump established his defense for losing the election in August 2020 when he said, "The only way we can lose the election is if the election is rigged." That's an 'if-then' or conditional statement...a hypothesis followed by a conclusion. Trump reworked it a little, stating a conclusion and defining the hypothetical conditions to validate the conclusion.
But that simple little statement was all it took to set the stage for him to claim rigged election. He cemented the idea of stolen election early in the morning following election by saying, "Frankly, I won the election." There was absolutely no way he lost the 2020 election. How could he? He was crisscrossing the country, doing rallies, drawing big crowds while Joe Biden was in his basement campaigning via WiFi...
And where did all those late night ballots come from? Why didn't they stop counting at midnight or whenever? The Constitution specifies 'Election Day', not election week. All the mail-in/absentee ballots for Biden were illegal because they were counted too late...and how could Fox Network call the election for Biden? TV networks don't certify elections.
There was simply no way, 7M more people could vote for Biden than him.
A year+ later, nothing has changed...he's still pushing the big lie, is on record attempting to invalidate the election results, obstruct the Jan 6 certification, and incite the insurrection. And not a soul has had the spine to tell him to shut the fuck up or haul his ass to court.
Maybe next year...
