TFG just can't stop losing. And it's set to continue.

The familiar maxim “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” that we pass along to our children encourages resilience and perseverance in the face of failure. We have reason to think someone encouraged former President Donald Trump to take the expression to heart, and, unfortunately, he did.

There are few truisms in life, but here’s one: Trump is litigious. Very litigious.

The many lawsuits Trump and his allies filed in 2021, the vast majority of which he lost, provide a case study in perseverance. Trump persevered despite the fact that doing so was often irrational and immoral.

There are few truisms in life, but here’s one: Trump is litigious. Very litigious. Before the 2016 election, a USA Today analysis found that he and his businesses had been involved in 4,095 lawsuits over three decades, and in more than 2,100 of those suits as the plaintiff.

She said she deserved all of the life insurance money because we were only married for three years. Rot in hell Minerva.

8. But it has worked for him. Litigation, whether you win the case or not, serves to intimidate.

Unlike in the UK, where the losing party pays the winner's attorneys fees, in the US each party pays their own fees in most cases. So when Trump sued someone, he forced them to incur thousands in attorneys fees expenses---even if they won. It amounts to extortion: do what I want or I will sue you, and cost you thousands in attorneys fees.

Our country's bar associations do very little to punish attorneys who engage in these sort of tactics, and judges don't do much about it either.

None of TFG's current attorneys are even second tier. No first tier lawyer would touch TFG

Otherwise, I can't understand why these lawsuits keep getting processed.
