CBS46, recently acquired by Atlanta-based Gray Television, is dropping the station’s longtime affiliation with Christian Broadcasting Network’s “The 700 Club,” which has been airing weekdays at 9 a.m.

Starting Feb. 1, CBS46 (WGCL-TV) will debut a new local news telecast at 9 a.m. instead.

“The 700 Club” will continue to air on Freeform at 9 a.m. weekdays. A CBS spokesperson said they will get another local broadcaster to pick up the program as well in 2022.

Pat Boone has nothing to do with the 700 Club. In fact, even Pat Robertson retired from it this year.

Though Pat Robertson himself apparently retired from the show earlier this year.

I also don't believe CBS is shutting down the 700 Club. This article is just about the local Atlanta affiliate not airing it anymore.
