Traitors to a one

Cruz:

Ted Cruz’s electoral vote speech will live in infamy

This was not Cruz’s first attempt to slyly thread the needle between what the far-right base wanted to hear and what was considered within the bounds of proper senatorial activity. But it was the first such attempt that took place against the backdrop of looming violence, of far-right protesters who had been actively discussing an armed insurrection making their way to Washington. Cruz, like Trump, figured he had a way to endear himself to the viper, to use it for his own advantage.

Within an hour of Cruz’s speech, a violent pro-Trump mob broke through a police line and forced their way into the Senate chamber itself.

Gosar:

Oh and offering blanket immunity to the insurrectionists...

More and more evidence of the co-ordinated and planned coup attempt comes to light and yet they still sit as lawmakers. Traitor to a one.

4. The question remains: who, finally, will face the consequences of this foolishness?

Of course, it's all just foolishness until the jester is crowned, if only for a day. You know, I'd heard that General Cornwallis had his regimental band play "The World Turned Upside Down" at his Yorktown surrender. The British seem to still retain, even today, their deep appreciation for irony.

isn't political rhetoric. If Merrick Garland allows all this to slip by the wayside he will truly go down as the worst AG in the history of the country.

We have a foul and sick habit of ignoring treason in this country.
Lee and Davis should have been hung. Instead we let the south celebrate by building statues of the treasonous pigs. Those statues are finally coming down. Hopefully our current treasonous pigs will also come down.
We should not be ignoring treason.
