I find myself reacting surprisingly emotionally positive to good news stories

I honestly never paid all that much attention to them, particularly on TV. But after the last five years (HRC stolen election, 4 years of open criminality, a pandemic) these feel good stories are affecting me in good ways. I am actually made to feel more relaxed, more happy, more content, when I hear or see them.

Not bragging or complaining. Just saying . . . . . .

and are still suffering which has induced trauma (Covid, stolen elections, GQP threat to democracy, etc.). In future years we will see how much the trauma has effected us long and short term. It has hit everyone. Kids who couldn't go to school, people unable to see family as they die, friends turned against each other due to politics and so on. Emotionally and mentally we are traumatized. It all takes its toll.
