Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe has been getting quite a bit of attention lately, after taking a vocal stand against Covid-19 vaccines. But she has appeared on Fox News a few times since bragging about being anti-vaxx during an appearance with Dan Bongino in October. And now, she will continue to be off the air for at least a few days, as she revealed in new tweets that she has contracted Covid-19.

Boothe appeared on Unfiltered with Dan Bongino on October 23rd and railed against what she called the Biden administration’s desire to “control” and “force his opponents to submit to him.” She slammed the administration’s advancement of vaccine mandates, told Bongino she was not vaccinated, and was “doubling down” on not getting the shot as a “giant middle finger to President Joe Biden’s tyranny.”

According to a search on television transcript database TVEye, Boothe has appeared on Fox News just four times since making the statement above: October 31st on Bongino’s show, November 20 to guest host Bongino’s show, November 28th with Steve Hilton, and mid-December on The Ingraham Angle. It remains unclear if the fewer appearances on Fox News are related to her vocal anti-vaccine stance.

Fox & Friends Sunday teased Boothe would be appearing as a contributor to Fox’s Big Sunday Show, but viewers who tuned in eager to see her among the remote panelists may have been disappointed to learn that she had been replaced by Katie Pavlich.

Lisa Marie Boothe interviewed to replace Meghan McCain as the talk show’s in-house conservative. But conversations ended when she publicly refused to get any vaccines.

The View’s already difficult path to replacing Meghan McCain as its resident conservative co-host was made slightly more difficult when one contender made clear she would not get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Fox News contributor Lisa Marie Boothe interviewed with ABC News and The View executives earlier this year, a source close to Boothe told The Daily Beast. Those conservations ended, this person with knowledge of the situation said, after the conservative pundit made clear to the network that she will not get any of the required jabs against the coronavirus.

An ABC News source confirmed to The Daily Beast that the network had conversations with Boothe, among “dozens and dozens” of candidates. The show never had an opportunity to offer her a guest-hosting spot or book a potential date. And once Boothe’s stance on vaccinations became apparent, the source said, further conversation became a “moot point” and a “non-starter” due to the network’s strict policies.

ABC News’ parent company, the Walt Disney Co., currently requires all U.S. employees be vaccinated against the coronavirus. And New York City, where The View tapes its episodes before a live studio audience, now mandates vaccines for all private-sector workers. Fox News requires employees at its NYC headquarters to be vaccinated. Boothe, who is currently based in Miami and revealed this week that she tested positive for COVID-19, did not respond to requests for comment.
