Any DUers near the Boulder fires?

The cities of Superior and Louisville are under evacuation orders.

https://www.weather5280.com/2021/12/30/town-of-superior-colorado-evacuated-as-fast-moving-fire-wreaks-havoc-across-northwest-denver-suburbs

"Multiple fires are burning outside of Boulder, Colorado putting homes and lives at risk. Highways, including U.S. 36 are closed, and evacuation orders are in place for Superior, Colorado, which has a population of roughly 13,000 people."

High winds in Boulder today; and I don't think Denver has had 1/2" of rain since July. Jim__ Dec 2021 #2

They may well be in the process of evacuating. Extremely dry conditions plus near hurricane force winds driving grass fires -- smoke blowing eastward.

All of the Denver stations are doing live coverage.

I'm northeast of Denver in Greeley. Right now our winds have calmed and we haven't gotten any of the smoke. We're watching closely.
