Nonsense. It is always quite warm in Alaska in December.

And we have always been at war with Eastasia!

Unusual even for these southern climes. About to take an abrupt turn however.

Annoys me when I’ve been planting bulbs all autumn; they’re easily confused lol.

Alaska Records a 67-Degree Day, a December Record
The reading from Kodiak Island on Sunday was not the only extreme weather in the state this month. Other places have seen record cold or precipitation.

Alaska hits 67 degrees, setting new December record

Kodiak smashed its previous monthly record by 20 degrees, meanwhile other towns are experiencing anomalous rain

LOL, have a desk in my garage for my Covid WFH office. Had a small little heater, yesterday between meetings I ran to Home Depot to get a full size heater. 50 is damn cold for us. Almost went to gloves, beanie is already on full time. (and long underwear too)

Don't make fun of us DUers from Michigan, Wisconsin and the Dakotas.

It snowed. In Napa!

It was brief, and melted within a foot of the ground it seems. It was a rare site for these old eyes, that is for sure.

In the 80's it snowed in Santa Rosa like that. It was fun to go outside in it the short time it lasted.
