Alaska Records a 67-Degree Day, a December Record
The reading from Kodiak Island on Sunday was not the only extreme weather in the state this month. Other places have seen record cold or precipitation.

(424 posts)LOL, have a desk in my garage for my Covid WFH office. Had a small little heater, yesterday between meetings I ran to Home Depot to get a full size heater. 50 is damn cold for us. Almost went to gloves, beanie is already on full time. (and long underwear too)
Don't make fun of us DUers from Michigan, Wisconsin and the Dakotas.

It was brief, and melted within a foot of the ground it seems. It was a rare site for these old eyes, that is for sure.

(11,468 posts)In the 80's it snowed in Santa Rosa like that. It was fun to go outside in it the short time it lasted.
