Against back drop that Potus today encouraged putin to de-escalate, re: Ukraine. 'Sanctions' would be a big mistake,' said putin to Potus.
US flew a spy plane over Ukraine, this week.

Hope diplomats de-escalate. Putin's belligerance aggravating, should be on the table.
Real danger: Conventional war in Europe, Ukrainians will continue to fight.
