(14,118 posts)On December 17, 2020, Gallup polling found that 31% of Americans identified as Democrats, 25% identified as Republican, and 41% as Independent.

So 73% of the already-minority QOP is actually around 20% of U.S. voters. Excuse me if I'm not worried about this other than to think that we better get to work on getting out the
vote amongst the Majority of U.S. voters, the 41% of The Independents. And protecting
voting rights from the ratfucking QOP.
NOTE: When I searched for this info there were a lot of hits and I chose what works for
me. You're welcome to do the same.

(65,060 posts)The more than couple dozen R voters i know pretty well all believe Biden won.
One nutjob in town makes it clear he believes the lie.
That means that I'm so lucky that over 96% of those i know are in the sane 21%?
Hard to believe.
I'm going with "the poll is flawed".

(65,060 posts)Are you saying I don't know these people well enough?
We have very different politics, but I'm NOT an outsider in that group.
If these people thought the election was stolen, I don't see why they'd deny it to me.

(21,768 posts)I see the conservative movement as a whole as a tribal phenomena, with its members desperate to fit in, to remain members in good standing.
To admit the doctrine is nonsense is a heresy that even the leaders dare not express.

(65,060 posts)Then we agree completely.
That is likely an inherent flaw in the poll which I already expected to exist.
Also, down thread someone mentioned people lying to pollsters to "own the libs". I guess I can see that as possible.

(13,181 posts)They don't "believe" Trump won. They know he lost. They say he won to own the libs through poll defiance.
