Kinda weird that they got rid of the statue in Wilmington, but kept the high school name.

Our teachers name was Mrs. Stokes. She retired the year before my little brother was old enough to go to school. Delaware history,Thanks for the article.
The OTHER Delaware elementary school named after an elementary teacher is Carrie Downey Elementary in New Castle.
For whatever reason, I always mix up Caesar Rodney in Dover and Wm Penn in New Castle.

William Penn is much like Caesar Rodney in size and student population.
