Betty White has passed away at 99.

P.S.-"Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever," her agent and close friend Jeff Witjas tells PEOPLE in a statement on Friday. "I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don't think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again."

I kept hearing about the magazine article, some televised party that's already been filmed I think and others going on about her 100th bday celebrations. I kept thinking don't do this, don't talk about it like it's a done deal, it's still two weeks away. When I heard this morning I thought well, there you go! (I don't actually think all of that had any real effect on her death, but shows like you said don't count your chickens etc)
