A word or two for the "occasionally interested in politics" folks:

You DO understand that it is your DUTY as an American citizen to vote next November, right? Our predecessors fought and died to obtain and exercise the right to vote for those who will govern us. "Whatever" is no longer an option for anyone when it comes to politics.

And, no, damn it, political candidates are NOT "all alike"! That is just the simplistic and childish nonsense used by lazy people excuse their apathy. There are MANY differences between the parties and the candidates and I am sure most of you would easily see who the "good guys" are if you spent a few hours reading readily available sources on the internet. BUT, ----- I'm going to save you those few hours and make it VERY easy for you.

IF you use you vote to help elect DEMOCRATS to Congress next fall you will not just be making a statement; you'll be making several:

---Hell, no! I do not want to elect someone who STILL---after losing 60+ lawsuits and countless recounts and "audits"---is working to overturn the 2020 election;

---Hell, yes! I support and believe in Democracy!

---Hell, yes! I want the Select Committee to track down every traitor who helped plan, organize, fund and INCITE the violent insurrection last January;

---Hell, no! I don't want anyone in Congress who says those who were in the January 6th mob were "just tourists";

---Hell, yes! I want a Congress that will pass voting rights legislation and the many provisions of the Build Back Better bill that will benefit ORDINARY PEOPLE, not just billionaires;

---Hell, no! I do not want anyone in Congress who had to kiss Trump's ----"ring" to win their primary!

There are many more reasons to vote straight Democratic next November, but just remember this: if you cast your precious vote for a Republican, you're voting in favor of the "flip side" of everything listed above.

You're welcome.

Losing the House and Senate could seriously threaten our democracy.
