Grand Forks ND new record low temp for the date -33 degrees F

used to live there and deliver newspapers in the early morning. seemed like fun at the time.
totally dressed for it and listened to KOMA from Oklahoma City on my transistor radio where it was like in the 70's

I'm happy to stay next door in Minnesota, with my forests to blunt the wind chill. I can handle -30F, even -40F, so long as it's not along with a 30 mph wind hitting me in the face.
