Then the 1/6 Committee goes public, and then the shit will hit the fan. At least that's what I'm hoping.

Network evening news viewership still exceeds cable by far.

Despite what they (cable) want you to think.
I think because many people still watch their local news in the evening and just roll into it.

Still a little over 1% of people saw this.

A possible start.

But not a HUUUGE audience.

but many people think cable has a bigger audience. The point I was making is the MSM is picking up that democracy is at risk.

Everyone is always giving FAUX News (Tucker Carlson and a smaller viewership) a lot of attention, but when MSM (Sunday Morning News and a larger viewership) calls out Trump for threatening democracy, then CBS Sunday Morning News is somehow small potatoes??

We'll pick up the mantle and carry on this great social experiment called America.

Okay, North America.

Alright, the USA,

I read some people rely on Sunday morning shows like this, MTP, etc, as their main non-local news source.

A lot of TV viewers, of course, don't watch anything beyond local news or national evening news, and that often in passing.

Radio is the leading reach platform: 92% of us listen to AM/FM radio over the airwaves, which is higher than TV viewership (87%), PC use (54%), smartphone use (81%), and tablet use (46%)

Btw, from Pew:

In just five years, the percentage of Republicans with at least some trust in national news organizations has fallen by half – dropping from 70% in 2016 to 35% this year, a June survey found.

Democrats remain far more likely than Republicans to say they have a lot or some trust in the information that comes from national news organizations (78% vs. 35%). The 43-point partisan gap is the widest measured since at least 2016.

Republican distrust for damned good reason, of course. Implacable opposition to Democrats is not the same thing as believing all the lies on Fox, etc.
