(1,525 posts). . . she was spreading COVID disinformation.
IN FACT, she was suspended because she's an incompetent, ignorant, insufferable asshole. Who will be re-elected because she represents her constituents, most of whom are , , , ,

(18,258 posts)We permanently suspended [@mtgreenee] for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy, the spokesperson wrote. Weve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.
Twitters Covid-19 misinformation policy uses a strike system to punish accounts that violate the policy. One strike results in nothing; second and third strikes result in a 12-hour account lock; a fourth strike brings a seven-day account lock; and a fifth strike results in a permanent suspension. The Georgia lawmakers account was suspended for one week back in August after she tweeted that the Food and Drug Administration shouldnt approve the Covid vaccines because they were failing to mitigate the spread of the disease.
Greenes personal account may be no more, but her congressional account, @RepMTG, remains active. That account is not in violation of the Twitter Rules, a company spokesperson explained to Rolling Stone.

I guess only the voters can finally put the period on that sentence. And considering who votes for her, and how far down into the idiot pit theyve fallen, I wouldnt hold my breath.

(18,258 posts)The social media service said the Republican congresswoman had violated its policy on coronavirus misinformation.
Twitter on Sunday permanently suspended the personal account of Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican of Georgia, after the company said she had violated its Covid-19 misinformation policies.
Twitter said that Ms. Greene had a fifth strike, which meant that her account will not be restored. The company had issued her a fourth strike in August after she falsely posted that the vaccines were failing. Ms. Greene was given a third strike less than a month before that when she had tweeted that Covid-19 was not dangerous for people unless they were obese or over age 65, and said vaccines should not be required.
Ms. Greenes official Congressional account, @RepMTG, remains active because tweets from that account did not violate the services rules.

(6,011 posts)Dirt bags like Greene are enemies to our nation. I have zero respect for them on any level.
If they suddenly burst into flames, I'm not the guy who would be calling 911.
