Michael Cohen was on Alex Witt's show a minute ago. It was a long interview, but the highlight was..

...him calling donald trump a "bloviated fool"!

This is the guy that said a few years ago that he would take a bullet for him.

My how times change.

I go to Youtube and listen to that threatening phone call he made to a reporter. He's a slimebucket, and he's no better than the rest of the Trump gang. He should still be in prison.

He admits his past mistakes and seems to be trying to change.

Sure, we individually don't owe anyone our forgiveness, but it seems important to recognize the difference between those who try to change and make amends and those (like TFG etc al) who don't. Imho.

Cohen is not losing a minute of sleep in his luxury home over what someone on DU thinks of him.

He enabled Trump for years, shit on a lot of people and made a fuck ton of money doing it.

I wouldn’t worry too much about his feelings. He doesn’t care what you think of him.

I happen to spend significant time listening to him, mainly via his podcast, and thus it is a recurring question in my own mind.

But then I ask myself: what would it look like *if* it were genuine? What would look different? And so far, I can't come up with anything. So I err on the side of benefit-of-the-doubt--not that he cares or that it matters to him, but because it matters to me. But fool me twice and it's over.

And no pardon. Yep assolini burned his bridges with Cohen. I laugh remembering how Cohen defended assolini and used to defend him so staunchly with “ says who” line.

He’s always been a democrat, surprisingly.
He now hates Trup with a passion. He was the only person sent to jail for doing what Trump ordered him to do and once released was sent back because he wouldn’t sign a document stating he would never write a book criticizing Trump. A violation of his 1st amendment right

Everyone was chomping at the bit for Vance to announce his indictments before a new DA was elected. This one looks much tougher than Vance.
