He is a black man in a white mans world afterall. Or thats how the old white mans presidential club sees it anyway. imo

I love my/our President and would take a hit for him in a heartbeat

The question was about whether Donald Trump thought about the impact on Obama's Kids. My cynical remark was saying that, sadly, I don't think anyone cares (enough) about Obama's kids and how this new trumped up accusation will affect them.

It's sounds like I took you completely off the track. My apologies.

...of his serial womanizing while still married to their mothers?

(I will caution against this "what about the children?" approach, though. The fact is, if you plan a career in the fishbowl of national politics, you should probably be prepared to have every detail of your private life become public eventually -- including being seen by your children, if you have any.)

Their daughters appear to be thoughtful, intelligent people. The parents will be able to explain what happened and set the time frame. I am confident the girls will understand and move on. That is one loving family. Trump's disgusting activity will hurt Romney more than help, many people have felt the pain of marital strife and will be insulted by what Trump is doing.

11 (Sasha) might be a little young to cope with this kind of information, but I'm sure her older sister, Melia at age 14, will help by example. And being good parents helps put it all to rest, too.

Even at younger ages, kids know when something is wrong with their parents. And the Obama's seem like the sort of parents that would sit their kids down and talk about this sort of thing.

knock down drag outs.

THAT is "human". THAT is the reality with people who live in the same household and moreso with those you are close to. And I'm sure that Sasha and Malia ALSO have some knock down drag outs too.

As it is, all of the bios of the President have discussed the tipping points of their marriage and how they worked through it. This is exactly why the President has refused to "schmooze" with the loser congress critters at their "after hours" drunk fests (and is then denigrated by the RW M$M for choosing to be a "family values" Democrat), and has set aside that time to spend time with his family.

To answer your question: No...there's no limits the great unhinged will go to attack a political opponent and attempt to destroy them and their lives. Look at what they tried to do with President Clinton. Look at how they've attempted to "de-legitimize" this President from the moment he became a national candidate. It's been relentless and this "October surprise" is far from a surprise. It's what these cretins thrive on...they want/need the dirt and don't care where it comes from...who it hurts...or even if its factual or not.

As others, I hope "Da Donuld" is stupid enough to try to attack a very popular First Lady as well as the President's family life. Want to cement a gender gap? That's the way to do it. But then we've seen time and time again how little class these shitstains have or that Willard will dare to stand up to them.

Shame on anyone in the corporate media that runs with this shit...but I expect hate radio and faux noise to play this up. It's all about winning at all costs...

Trumpet's big FAIL yet again?

It is always wise, imo, to wait to see what the nutcase Trumpet is actually bloviating about before assuming anything, imo, otherwise one's OP could be seen as big a failure as Trumpet's big 'election changer' crap was.

The OP assumes some things that bring up a question that kind of transcends the OP which is something that happens all the time. To me, it brings up a question of whether any public official or public figure cares about innocence or those that may get hurt by a situation.

I don't think there is a question of whether the Obama's kids will be affected; I have no doubt they are well taken care of. What it does bring up is the character of those who put out stupid crap to undermine someones personal life to gain on a political issue or just to be an attention whore, that has nothing to do with public life. Anytime someone goes after the personal stuff, there can be innocent consequences.

On the other hand, that's the chances a public figure takes by being public. But here, it's a question of the character of the source, in this case Trump.
