The shitty virus I somehow got supposedly gifted me with AFIB. I don't know. On meds from the hospital and same from so-called rehab/nursing facility chamber of horrors nightmare.

I had to limit news programs when hearing crap over and over then I feel fluttery palpitations.

One latest what's that thing on the bottom of screens? Crawl or chyron?

For some reason I was allowed to survive it. But nights at first, I prayed to be 'translated'. I had visions of never returning to any semblance of my life prior. Covid is hideous filth.

Gigantic mistake. Shoulda checked it out b4 and said no way. Find another joint.

I can't believe I'm still standing.

I'm gonna write a running account of my 11 days there. I got a roomie 1/2 way into my stay. She, a 70 y.o. pharmacist by vocation and I, got on. The last few days I ordered Chinese and shared supper with her. Then ordered surf and turf for me the next day. The 'meals' were inedible. Some like piggie slop. "Suwee, suwee!" I got pics on my phone.

Oh, man, I overshot the runway with my blather. Sorry! 💗

11. So glad you are home and better. It seems like rehab places are either awful or wonderful.

Luckily we have just found a wonderful one around here after my sister broke both her legs. She's home now but they did very well by her.

The food was still awful, though.

Ask around, though, and do some research now so you know where to go if you ever need one again.

15. I have local uni. station on daily and evening till TV goes on. Classical into all night.

My dogga daughter was taken cared for by a close couple. That worried me no end. I came home last Tuesday and she came back Wednesday. So she is a major diversion.

This stupid virus saps your strength. I'm gaining it back, but slowly. The weakness affects your mind.

However, so closely related in history, etc. it did come to mind the ones who were sent to gulag prisons and how they existed and perhaps survived. This doesn't even remotely compare to my experience. I'm suffering, but not in the environment they found themselves in. Of course being 2nd generation Amercanski, I have had it semi-cushy. Welcome to the Western way of life.

Walmart. Day after Xmas. Email ads. Come on in!! Stuff 50% off!! After you spent mb hard earned savings on a bunch o' crap. The American Way.

I'm grieving for my past years, being pulled along, dopey girl, spending beaucoup on family plus at Christmas and all thru the year. Grieving that I was deceived. A good portion of $$ blown on others could have gone to charity.

My maternal grandparents came over b4 the crap hit the fan in Europe. Grandfather did have a small meat market, but they rented for years then purchased a very modest home. They didn't have much in the way of material things because they didn't fall into the trap. My grandmother had mismatched dishes. Perhaps she was ahead of her time with funky chic! 😁 They were happy and satisfied. Dammit. What went wrong with their granddaughter...
