As you've pointed out, why would anti-Trump forces try to stop Biden's win being made official as scheduled on that day?

If anti-Trumpers were the ones rioting, why was Trump watching it on TV in the WH, instead of being moved to the bunker for safety, or even whisked away by the Secret Service to a safe location outside of DC in fear of the violence spreading throughout the city?

Why didn't Trump immediately call on the Capitol police and National Guard to rid the Capitol of these dangerous people who, if they were anti-Trumpers, posed an immediate threat to him personally, as well as the pro-Trump congressmen/women who were in the building?

Why were Trump's closest allies telling him to "call off the rioters"? If the rioters were actually antifa and Dems, why did his allies think that they would leave if Trump told them to?

Why did Trump finally address the rioters by saying "you've very special and we love you"? Is that something he would have said if he thought he was talking to antifa and/or Democrats who had just trashed the Capitol?

I realize that Republicans are not the most intelligent people - but when plain ol' common sense doesn't cause you to say, "Hmmm, none of this is adding up", it's time to admit you're just a brainless idiot.
