(4,131 posts)That we all witnessed Trump incite the January 6th insurrection. We saw it with our own eyes and heard it with our own ears. We've waited for him to be brought to justice (some patiently, others less so) for the last year. We're still waiting.
If Timothy McVeigh, Terry Nichols, and Ted Kaczynsk had committed their crimes on live television in front of the entire world and a year later we were still waiting for them to face criminal charges, I suspect we'd have a similar outpouring of anger, frustration, and disillusionment with "the process."

How many people wouldn't be put in jail for running a fake charity involving the troops like Trump did?
and this came after running a fake college !!
I can understand the angst for justice when it comes to Trump

(65,061 posts)...the charges being pursued are apples & oranges.
They didn't have to collect a mountain of evidence to prove a top down conspiracy & sedition.
They had to prove they built the bomb, planted the bomb, and the slightest prove of motive. Intent was obvious.
Comparing those 2 cases doesn't make much sense.

(24,300 posts)There was no license plate on his car. He did not know it, but he had parked the car so close to the bombing that the plate was blown off the car by the force of the explosion. Note that he was never let out on bail. We are letting people out on bail who forced their way into the Capitol building to murder elected officials.
