Kimberly Guilfoyles Leaked Text Messages Are Not Doing the Trumps Any Favors
Its been quite the week for Don Jr. and his new fiancée.

January 5, 2022
Its been an eventful few days for right-wing royalty Kimberly Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr. On Friday, the couple seemingly revealed that they were engaged, and it was reported that, actually, the spawn of satan had gotten down on one knee a year ago but for some reason they decided to keep it a secret. On Monday, we learned that Don Jr. (along with his sister Ivanka) had been subpoenaed by the New York attorney general, and were reportedly refusing to comply with the order. And on Wednesday, ProPublica reported that text messages sent by Guilfoyle concerning the January 6 rally that preceded the deadly attack on the Capitol suggest Team Trump was even more intimately involved with the planning of the Stop the Steal rally than previously thought. Best wishes to the happy couple?
Heres ProPublica:
Guilfoyles texts, reviewed by ProPublica, represent the strongest indication yet that members of the Trump family circle were directly involved in the financing and organization of the rally. The attack on the Capitol that followed it left five dead and scores injured. A House select committee investigating the events of January 6 has subpoenaed more than 30 Trump allies for testimony and documents, including Pierson and Caroline Wren, a former deputy to Guilfoyle. But Guilfoyle herself has so far not received any official scrutiny from Congress.
Guilfoyles boasts of the millions she brought in reportedly came amid complaints that she wasnt going to be allowed to speak on stage at the rally. According to ProPublica, Pierson says that the president personally set the speaker lineup and that there was nothing she could do about it. Guilfoyle reportedly responded that she just wanted to introduce Don Jr., noting that she had raised so much money for this. Literally one of my donors Julie at 3 million. Guilfoyle was apparently referring to Julie Jenkins Fancelli, a Publix supermarket heir who Guilfoyle had cultivated a professional relationship with during the campaign, according to ProPublica.
snip//
Guilfoyles attorney, Joe Tacopina, denied to ProPublica that his client had anything to do with fundraising or approving rally speakers, claiming the text from Guilfoyle did not relate to the Save America rally and that the content of the message itself was inaccurate and taken out of context. (He did not respond to follow-up questions from the outlet about the accuracy and context of the message.)

So she's giving the RAGARLDF dark money, which they use to purchase robocalls to come to Washington so they can partake in the insurection.
You just can't make shit like this up. This is too freaking much.

(3,315 posts)All these relatively normal (previously) if Republican groups just... dissolved into powder because of Trump. And he's SUCH a loser! And so awful-- why are they all willing to break laws and subvert democracy for HIM?
It's because he's so shameless, and glories in getting away with being shameless. I guess they envy that?

(50,562 posts)Spousal privilege only applies to the crimes you commit after you are married. Guilfoyle can be forced to testify about this.
I expect her to take the Fifth so many times Ill be taking a fifth of Jack Daniels about halfway through.

Kimberly, lets get married today.
But Don, I always dreamed of a June wedding!
Every day we arent married is a day they can make us testify against each other for.
How about a June reception?

(7,918 posts)or the court's findings and sentencing as legitimate.
Then again, it may also prove to be a case of protecting TFG and his brood as much as punishing them.
SergeStorms
(19,204 posts)would be a wonderful job for the Trumps. Scraping chicken beaks off machinery, hosing everything down with bleach, and squeegeeing blood into a three inch uphill drain, now that might teach them some humility.
Nah, who am I trying to kid. They're incapable of normal human emotions, other than greed.
jmowreader
(50,562 posts)The reason it needs to be an Amazon warehouse is that the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is at the top of Trumps shit list. Depending on Bezos to provide the money Trump needs for his hamberders and seven-foot-long ties would hurt him more than anything else I can think of.
SergeStorms
(19,204 posts)of that there is no doubt, but I'm not overly fond of him myself. I'd hate to give Bezos the satisfaction of being able to do that to Trump though.
So cleaning a slaughterhouse was the worst punishment I could come up with, where neither of those egocentric bastards came out ahead in any way.
Six of one, half a dozen of another. In the end I'm positive we both want Trump and his progeny to pay dearly for what they've done. Hell is Trump's destination, we just have different paths we want him to travel on his journey there.

At work or at play, seriously vertical or languidly horizontal -- fetchingly sprawled on Ann Getty's well-vacuumed rug -- Mayor Gavin Newsom and Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom look polished as heck in "The New Kennedys," a spread in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, mainly shot at the Gettys' house.
The headline was a surprise. "Oh, my God," said the Mrs., "we made no suggestion of any similarity. Public service, that's it. It's not a comparison we make."
