Earlier this week, Jan. 6 insurrectionist Josh Pruitt appeared on CNN and indicated he would storm the Capitol again.
Now, federal prosecutors are seeking to revoke Pruitt's pretrial release and lock him up, pointing to his nationally televised statements, as well as numerous curfew violations and threats he's allegedly made against his ex-girlfriend and others.
Pruitt, a member of the Proud Boys who was living in DC at the time of the insurrection, has a long rap sheet, including 19 prior arrests and eight convictions, WUSA Channel 9 reported Friday.

"Maybe so, but he also committed fifteen counts of attempted murder and 29 counts of assault by hitting Capitol Police officers in the head with fire extinguishers."
"Attempted murder? Are you kidding? It's not like he killed someone."

(1,654 posts)"remorseful" and so sorry but then they post on social media and give interviews proving they lied should be rearrested and charged with lying under oath. The last I heard that was a crime. It should be a bigger crime to do it in this situation in federal court.

If anybody needs to be locked up while awaiting trial, it's this lunatic. He obviously has absolutely no respect for rules of any kind and has violated probation more times than I could count while reading this. Please, Judge Kelly, get this loose cannon off the streets before he kills somebody!
