On edit: I just want to make sure we don't rally around and get behind any republican infiltrators into our party, or those who lean firmly in that direction. From now on, we have to be REALLY careful about who we primary! Lest we end up again in the future in the situation we now find ourselves in in the Senate.

There are at least 2 Dem candidates running for Ms. MT-Gone's seat. Nice to see in a Red district.

Keep in mind that a centrist Dem will most likely have the best odds to do well in GA 14 - not sure how those people will react to a really progressive candidate, but who knows. That's why we hold elections.

in primaries like never before............Look no farther than Manchin. And, there are a bunch more, especially at the state level and local levels.......Many of them don't want to show their Republican allegiance, so they just stand back and say little or nothing, and that is just as bad..........We've got them here in Colorado, and have had for decades............

They run on a Dem ticket, the Republican Voters all know they are a Republican at heart, so they all vote for him/her and the Dems vote for them because they have a D by their name on the ballot.........

There are sincere Democratic conservatives/centrist. Many of them. I don't agree with all their positions, but they exist and they exist in large numbers.

I will not paint them all as Manchins. I will not advocate division in the Democratic ranks.

2020 proved we Dems CAN come together in the end.

Disclosure: I am a liberal progressive from the Left Wing of the Party. But I stand in Solidarity with my Centrist Sister's and Brother's. May not agree with them, but I have their backs. At least those who are sincere - the phonys can take a hike, and I am sure the real centrists would agree with me there.

but like he said, it takes a TWO-THIRDS majority, and right now, the dems should be worried about and going all out to preserve a simple majority at least in the House, and stay even in the Senate at least.......

The Republicans are well organized, and well orchestrated, and executing their plans brilliantly....(sorry, but they are, and have been for decades) They also are going after the Governorships in States, Attorney Generals in states, etc etc. It is an all out frontal assault which they have been getting ready for, for decades. Katie Bar the Door in 2022 and 2024............

Once again I say: The perfect title for a book on the last forty years would be: WHILE THE NATION SLEPT
It wouldn't be just A book, but something that would look like an old fashioned set of books like the World Book Encyclopedia or Encyclopedia Britanica........and even that wouldn't begin to tell the entire story............

I can't believe the number of Dems that are retiring from their offices in the House and Senate......WTF? Esp at THIS time in our nation's history.........

Several are running for a higher office or different office like Governor.........In my opinion, if I were a Dem in the House or Senate,
I would be sitting tight and trying to help myself or someone else in a threatened area.

The Republican's need MTG, they allow her to say the despicable things, draw attention, while they all hide behind her skirts in the shadows, not drawing any attention to themselves. She has money, they give her support and money. They need MTG and the other's like her. They are in 100% safe areas and can say and do ANYTHING, and get re-elected.......

That district is mostly white even though the redistricting did bring in more minority voters. Just not enough. But a Democrat just isnt going to win. Trump won by FIFTY percent
