As for the toxic Yang tweet, the date it was written and posted seems to be missing from the screen cap that was posted above.

In the interest of not serving to amplify Yang's anti-Democratic Party narrative, I'm posting a partial screen shot as a reminder that divisive nonsense from long ago is still being spread by Yang to srve his own personal political agenda. Yang posted that tweet two days ago (January 7 2022).

I posted the screenshot in my original reply to the other poster in for people without Twitter to still see it and then posted the tweet link itself to show it was real.

Here is your screenshot of my own reply, blown up (and I include the URL to show that it is indeed YOUR screenshot)

It clearly shows the date of the 'Sanders is the progenitor of Trumpism' tweet, you can see it below the 'ism' in the first 'Trumpism' from the screenshot).

You are simply are once again using sophistry to try and muddy the waters and deflect from that poster using a shit twitter troll.

You have often tried the same tactics to deflect and derail colloquies with me in the past, take them off into the weeds so as to try and mitigate the valid points I make.

There was no date on the screencap of the the Andrew Yang tweet that you posted here.

The date of the toxic, divisive tweet from Andrew Yang is missing on the screenshot in your post. The date clearly shows on the original tweet and on the retweet when one checks on twitter, but for some reason, it doesn't show here.

Isn't it incredibly troubling that Andrew Yang is busy starting out the new year by blaming Democrats for Trump and reviving toxic, divisive, repeatedly debunked fairy tales about our party?

At this point Andrew Yang has earned his place among those who cloak themselves in the mantle of fake populism in the service of helping to elect Republicans.

A screenshot of second toxic January 7 tweet from Andrew Yang made its way here, but the screenshot of that second toxic tweet was missing the date.

to that question I asked them at all.

My original reply to the other poster had a Yang tweet in it, and the date of that Yang tweet is clearly shown if you click on the tweet link I posted.

The dates have nothing to do with the first poster posting a troll who pushes outrageous smears of Sanders.

Your fixating on dates of the multiple tweets is pure misdirection.

the posting of, by the first poster, amplified a despicable smearing of Sanders.

Those 2 twitter users ('Discourse Enjoyer' @BidenHarrisBro and the one they implied ie 'The horseshoe theory is very real' @sensen2011) are trolls who post and/or retweet shit that would be banned here.

I do not care what factual things they say about other subjects, there are plenty of other non troll sources one can use to say the same thing.

Your attempted defence of first one (Discourse Enjoyer) being posted here is telling.

This whole thing is almost a mirror of another poster here who repeatedly posted tweets from a troll whose Twitter display name at one time was literally 'Arrest John Fetterman' and repeatedly, obsessively, slagged him off as a neo Nazi skinhead and other shit. The poster here tried to justify it by saying the tweets they posted from that troll had nothing to do with Fetterman (and then doubled down and proceeded to slate Fetterman themselves).

This Twitter loophole on here needs to be closed. It is exploited by a small group to give voice to bad faith actors, bots, shills, and trolls and allows them into the DU conversation, including actual DU-banned, multi-platform-banned, racist, anti-Semitic uber trolls.

If people tried to post things from a site (not social media) that had a tonne of bullshit in regards to other subjects, it would be called out by so many and stopped.

But because this same thing is done via Twitter, it gets a pass, as most people do not know the nefarious shitty background behind those twitter accounts who fall into this category of which I speak.

Done with this thread.

Sun Jan 9, 2022, 02:05 PM

Turner, and Uygur against the claim that they are "neo-progressives" contains what appears to be defective text.

Bringing the discussion back to Andrew Yang's toxic January 7 tweets is not "obfuscation"; it's staying on topic.

The OP is about Andrew Yang. The defective tweet with the date restored simply underscores the point that Andrew Yang is currently more invested in blaming Democrats than in holding Republicans accountable and responsible. This is not something he tweeted years ago.

It's a good thing for Democrats to be aware of Yang's toxic January 7 tweets, and it's important that Yang be called out for launching his third party by spreading what seems to be his own iteration of a big lie: that the Democratic Party is responsible for the rise of Trump.

Who benefits from Yang revisiting debunked toxic disinformation that impugns the integrity of the Democratic Party?

Cui bono?

in Washington D.C and looked and found this

“Let me suggest to you, and some will disagree with me and that’s okay, too. But let me suggest to you that what happened on November 8th. Trump’s victory was not a victory for Trump or his ideology. It was a gross political failure of the Democratic Party,” said Sanders, who went on to explain his perspective on why Donald Trump won and where the Democratic Party has gone astray
“Let me also tell you something again where people may disagree with me. If you think everyone who voted for Donald Trump is a racist or a sexist or a homophobe, you would be dead wrong,” he said. “Many of those folks—and I met them all over this country—are hard-working, decent people, but they are asking questions like how does it happen I am working longer hours for lower wages? How does it happen that almost all of the new income and wealth in this country is going to the top one percent? How does it happen that as a single mother I cannot afford childcare for my baby? How does it happen that my kids will in all likelihood have a lower standard living than I will, and they’re leaving school deeply in debt? How does it happen that I’m working for 9 bucks an hour and nobody gives a damn about whether or not I can put food on the table or pay my rent? How does it happen that the crooks on Wall Street destroy the economy, yet kids who smoke marijuana get prosecuted, but the CEOs on Wall Street who destroyed the lives of millions of people, not one prosecution of a Wall Street executive, how does that happen?”

“There are people in this country who are hurting, and they are hurting terribly,” added Sanders. “And for years they looked to the Democratic Party, which at one time was the party of working people, and they looked and they looked and they looked and they got nothing in return. And out of desperation, they turned to Donald Trump.”

The Democratic party shows great concern for the middle class. The poor are rarely mentioned, it has become an almost dirty word to both parties because ending poverty costs money, so they pivot to “working families”. But there is a difference.
