Unfortunately, there were some holiday family gatherings in the Orlando/Winter-Garden area... and several family members are now sick with a breakthrough Covid infection. They were ALL vaccinated and boosted... everyone at the gatherings "felt fine"... but it spread anyway.

I never once said "told you so" or any other version of that. But, I'm sure they all knew what I was thinking (because I fucking TOLD THEM SO!!!)

97. Yes it is getting harder to avoid. My two step grandchildren came home after spending holidays

with their father's family, with covid. He didn't even bother to test them but brought them home with visible symptoms. Luckily my other grandchildren are at their Mother's while my son is away at work. I took a couple of my rapid tests to my D-I-L and that confirmed them and now she was caring for them and with a 10 month old baby as well. I went and did their grocery shopping and shovelled snow etc for them but other than that stayed away. I had purchased 4 boxes of N95 masks just before Xmas and she wore them and made the children wear them even while confined to their rooms. One has finished his quarantine and is negative and the other still has a couple of days to go but my D-I-L has tested negative again today. I have had nothing at all, but then only dropped the tests and groceries in the door with my mask on, so we may have dodged a bullet. Both kids were fairly mild, just like a cold.
