(90,704 posts)Did you read that when it came out? Wiki says it was a 2-part serial in Analog in 1965, and thats where I first read it. It was fascinating.
On edit: Wikipedia cant make up its mind in another section it says Dune was serialized in 3 parts 1963-64. No matter my dad subscribed to Analog and I spent my childhood and adolescence reading it.
